Unterwasser is also the home of Simon Ammann, the most successful Swiss Ski Jumper and Gold Medal Winner Olympia 2010 in Vancouver/Canada, double Gold Medal Olympia Winner in Salt Lake City, USA in 2002 and World Champion in Sapporo in 2007.
